This atlas is particularly helpful for genealogists. For each precinct, the farmers are listed, along with the names of their wives and children, the post office or postal route, the section number of their farms, whether they rented or owned the land, who owned the land if it was rented, and the number of years they had resided in the county. If there were names that I thought might be misspelled, I compared them with the names on the maps, and corrected those that were in error.
