Activities: member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the American Legion; enjoyed playing softball for a number of years; later in life, enjoyed listening to his police scanner for area happenings and the weather report
Survivors include: stepson, Vaughn Huckfeldt of Ridgeway, Colo.; also nieces, Carol Beran of Lincoln, Betty Hoeft and her husband, Tom, of Grand Island and Bobbie Quandt of Aurora, Colo.; and a nephew
Was preceded in death by his wife, parents and a brother, Joseph.
