Activities: member of the Kearney Elks Club and American Legion Post 52 in Kearney; enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and bowling; had been a Golden Gloves boxer in his younger years
Survivors include his sons, Daniel and David, both of Kearney; daughters, Robin Mazankowski and Ronda Eastman, both of Kearney; sister, Lola Richardson of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; also mother-in-law, Alice Danielson of Kearney; daughters-in-law, Tammey Nichols and Janine Nichols, both of Kearney; sons-in-law, Dennis Mazankowski and Rich Eastman, both of Kearney; cousin, Stan Linch of Lexington; and niece, Paula Ewing of Rapid City, S.D.
Was preceded in death by his wife; sister, Maxine Thompson, and his parents.
