After marriage, lived on a farm near Litchfield, Neb.; operated several stables in Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa and Colorado; in Missouri started their last stable and built a rodeo arena, restaurant and bar; Rawhide Arena won the MRCA Rodeo of the Year in 2006
Activities: great loves were horses and rodeos; enjoyed horse sales; brought longhorn steers out of Texas to use in his rodeos; also ran the pony ring at all the county fairs in Missouri, Kansas and Arkansas; did more than 1,000 private pony birthday parties
