Activities: member of First Lutheran Church for 65 years, taught Sunday school and later was active in the Quilter’s Guild; member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary; loved to quilt and cook for family and friends, enjoyed making homemade pies and jellies; most of all, loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Was a devoted husband, father and grandfather; enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling and spending time with family and friends at their cabin at Midway Lake near Cozad

Activities: biggest joy was his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; enjoyed putting model planes together and flying them, completing puzzles, paint by numbers, drawing, archery, fishing, rollerskating and also trips to Branson, Mo.

After marriage, lived in Kearney in 1995
Was a full-time minister for Jehovah’s Witnesses; had a strong faith and love for her ministry work; spent many hours sharing her faith with others
Activities: loved Husker football, flowers and plants; was an extremely talented seamstress and very creative; loved crafts and projects, making beautiful keepsakes for family and friends; enjoyed her many trips to Estes Park, Colo.; loved the beauty and peacefulness of the park was enamored by nature and truly loved to stop and smell the flowers
Was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kenton Benson
