Activities: was active in St. James Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Elks Club; attended their children's sports events, music concerts; vacationed in Kansas City to catch a Royals baseball game; enjoyed playing cards, cookouts and camping; in retirement, enjoyed reading their shady backyard as well as visits from their children, grandchildren and the accompanying pets

Was the equipment manager at UNK for 38 years, 1976 to 2013; mentored many students and athletes; loved everything about sports and rarely missed a game before and after his retirement in 2013; was responsible for outfitting all Loper teams, which numbered 10 when he began at then-Kearney State. With the advent of women's sports, the number grew to 17
Married: Shirley L. Johnson, on July 12, 2014, after many years of bachelorhood
Activities: Sept. 27, 2015, was inducted into the University of Nebraska Kearney Athletic Hall of Fame; lifetime member of the Athletic Equipment Manager's Association since its inception in 1976; helped design the current equipment room now housed on the ground floor of the Health and Sports Center, and dedicated to his name; loved his sweets, candy and Diet Dr Pepper, and sharing them with others; read his Bible and prayed every day;
with Shirley, loved attending UNK functions, their church, Living Fellowship and being with family and friends

Was employed by Rockwell as a painter, and by Eaton Corporation, both in Kearney; later worked at Bosselman Truck Stop in Grand Island as a night parts clerk, received employee of the month in December 2002; retired in 2014
Dennis was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Kearney. He was also an enthusiastic member of Parents Without Partners, a support group for single parents and their children. He enjoyed dancing, playing cards and especially loved fishing in his kayak around the Grand Island area.
Survivors include his children, Crystal (Todd) Herron of Rock Port and JaWayne Douglass of Omaha; grandchildren, Jaimie Frerichs, twins, Michael and Marccus Allen Douglass, RyAnne, Corwyn, Brentyn and Jaymes Herron; great-grandchild, Ryker Frerichs; brother, Vance Douglass; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Judy Malone of Eustis

Activities: enjoyed her screened-in porch, watching birds and wildlife in her backyard, flower and vegetable gardening, being outdoors, cooking for large family gatherings, going for a drive and being with her family

Grew up in Fargo, North Dakota and St. Paul, Minnesota; was a singer from an early age; achieved her bachelor's degree in music education from the University of Minnesota
Married: Aug. 16, 1951, at St. Paul, to Gerald Feese, a graduate teaching assistant in music theory
Led a rich life that touched many with her music, teaching and faith; while raising three children, taught music and elementary grades in Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa and Pennsylvania, and in the Hastings College Music Department; hundreds of students studied in her private home studio on piano and voice, preparing for a life with a love of music and, in some cases, professional musicianship
Moved to Kearney in 1962; Jerry taught in the music department at Kearney State College, now UNK; Beth was an active leader and worker in community organizations, including the Kearney Area Ostomy Association, Music Teachers National Association and National Association of Teachers of Singing, and was involved in many ways at church, sang in church choir and performed recitals; helped lead the choir at St. Luke's Church for several years
In 1985, at 57, completed her master's degree at UNK
Activities: member of Sigma Alpha Iota professional music sorority; Pi Lambda Theta and Eta Sigma Upsilon, honorary education societies; and Mortar Board, professional leadership honorary; was very supportive of her family, whether helping children throw a baseball or attending their concerts, or accompanying Jerry's students and planning family schedules; loved hiking and canoeing; enjoyed Sunday afternoon family hikes at Cottonmill Lake and trips to Minnesota's Boundary Waters
Survivors include a daughter, Connie Moon and husband Richard of Kearney; son, David Feese and significant other, Kathy Parker, of Kearney; four grandchildren and their spouses; and five great-grandchildren

Taught first at Trinity Lutheran School in Arapahoe in a one-room school; was also active in Walther League activities at the circuit and state level during this time
Married: Harlan Glanzer, July 8, 1956, at Immanuel Lutheran in Schuyler
After marriage, lived in Fremont, taught at Trinity Lutheran School; had three children, later settled in Norfolk; at Christ Lutheran School for 25 years, primarily in the kindergarten classroom; in all, taught 32 years in the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church, touching countless numbers of students' lives; retired in 1998, and continued her education vocation, serving as Sunday school superintendent for Christ Lutheran Church for eight years
Activities: was a Madison County master gardener, served as the organization's president, wrote columns on gardening that were published in the Norfolk Daily News, and created the unique Biblical Garden located at Christ Lutheran School in Norfolk; when her children were young, was active in Wonder Workers 4-H Club as a leader and teacher; active member of the Concordia Guild, and a regular choir member of Christ Lutheran Church; remembered all the children she taught through the years, and always was delighted to keep in contact with them as they continued their education and became adults with their own families

Was ordained and installed in July 1945 at Immanuel Lutheran in rural Amherst; Immanuel and later Grace Lutheran in Sumner for 11 years; for several of those years, taught parochial school in a one-room schoolhouse; served for 15 years at Peace in Hastings, Nebraska; seven years at Trinity in Guttenberg, Iowa, and St. Paul in McGregor, Iowa; from 1978 to 1994, served at Immanuel in Columbus, Nebraska, as an assistant pastor, and then from 1994 to 2004 as visitation pastor in Columbus; retired and moved to Immanuel Village in Omaha in 2004, continued to serve the church, making hospital calls on Mt. Activities: at Immanuel Village, served as a volunteer proof reader and librarian for the Village; enjoyed playing ping-pong and bean bags and often held the title of Bean Bag Champion; enjoyed other Village residents for a night of joke telling; will be remembered by many for his incredible memory for names, his quick smile and always for the jokes he had ready to tell; supported his three sons in their musical and ministry pursuits throughout their lives and his grandchildren with monetary contributions to their college educations; often said his first and last congregations were named Immanuel and his last home was Immanuel Village, which means “God with us;” lived his life knowing God was with him always as a saved child of God and often witnessed to his family, friends and complete strangers about how much God loved them

Was in the field of education for 43 years, retired in 2018; began as a special education/resource teacher at Shelton and Kearney Public Schools; then taught the remaining 39 years in Educational Service Unit 10, first served as special education teacher in rural schools in several counties; her passion was helping children learn to read;with students, parents and colleagues; was later resource coordinator, early childhood planning region team co-chair, and member of the Central Nebraska Autism Team
Activities: enjoyed watching her children's and grandchildren's numerous activities and sports; was an avid baseball fans, from Little League to professional teams; was fond of making greeting cards, rubber stamping, watercoloring and playing bunco with friends; Bible study and "RAK Coffee Groups" were important to her; will be remembered for her deep faith, devotion to family and love of her dear friends

Was the oldest of their four children; attended elementary school at the Glenwood rural school, then junior high and high school in Kearney; attended what was then Kearney State College for two years
Married: Aug. 5, 1959 in Kearney to K. Dale Williams of Merna
After marriage, moved to Denver, Colorado where Dale was stationed in the U.S. Air Force; also lived in Spokane, Washington, Rapid City, South Dakota, and Roseville, California; in January 1964, moved back to Kearney as Dale rejoined civilian life; lived in Gothenburg where Dale taught in the high school, returned to Kearney; later moved to Muscatine, Iowa, Delta, Utah, and Glenrock, Wyoming; after raising her children, was determined to return to UNK and finish her degree, moved back to Kearney temporarily and finally accomplished her goal
Survivors include her husband of Glenrock, two brothers, Steve L. Beadle and Kern A. Beadle (Dani) and a sister, Carol A. Letcher, all of Kearney; sister-in-law, Anna M. Williams Nilson of Lake Elsinore, California; grandchildren, Cole Williams and Alec Williams of Denver, Colorado, Lacey Williams and Lexie Williams of Papillion and Kearney, Dalton Williams and Harley Gonzales, both of Casper, Wyoming; and great-grandchildren, Skyler and Melodie Williams of Denver, and Avalynne, Hayden and Korbin Williams of Casper

Graduated in 1970 from Nebraska City High School; earned her Nursing Degree from Kearney State College
Military: U.S. Air Force, was stationed at Offutt Air base as a nurse
Following her discharge, moved to Kearney and worked at Richard Young hospital
Activities: enjoyed reading and having her Jamochaccinos with friends
Survivors include: her daughter, Angela and Chris Lawn of Lone Tree, Colorado, grandchildren Keegan, Delaney, and Camden Lawn also of Lone Tree, sister Patricia and Todd Rimpley of Lexington, nephews, Jeremiah and Nikki Houlden, Michael and Tandy Rimpley of Lexington, nieces Ashley David Rimpley-Sorto of Lexington, Alicia and Armando Nava of Lexington, and special friends, Jera and Rob Hinkle of Kearney

Born: Jan. 11, 1940, in Kearney
Parents: Paul and Charlotte (Rowedder) Bundy
Was raised in Gibbon; graduated from Gibbon Public School in 1957
Married: Aug. 16, 1959, to Darrell Gene Yendra; raised three children while residing on the family farm north of Gibbon
Taught in a country school the first fall after graduating high school, and later attended Kearney State College to earn her bachelor's degree in education; then taught three years at a Hall County country school, and was a paraprofessional at Northeast Elementary School in Kearney until retiring
Activities: was active in the Baptist Church of Gibbon from infancy to adulthood; was on the Cradle Roll and at age 12 was baptized; was active in Sunday school, vacation Bible school, choir and the youth fellowship, served in office for both the local and association Baptist Youth Fellowship during her teenage years; for 30 years, taught Sunday school, served as Sunday school superintendent, on the nursery committee and on the Board of Christian Education
Moved to Kearney after selling the farm, 1982; enjoyed traveling and their grandchildren; playing cards with friends, out dancing and camping in their mobile home; hobbies included reading, quilting and coffee with friends; her pride and joy were her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren, whom she often gifted with quilted items and books; member of First Baptist Church of Kearney, involved with the ABW Circle, charter member of Bits and Pieces Quilt Guild, Pioneer Extension Club and had been a docent at the Museum of Nebraska Art in Kearney
Survivors include her husband. Darrell Yendra; children, Brian Yendra, Krista (Bruce) Pierce and Darren (Inga) Yendra; 11 grandchildren, Kyla Earll, Brooke Cooley, Brittney Kuck, Timaree Smith, Derek Yendra, Tyson Pierce, Jared Yendra, Trenton Yendra, Tate Pierce, Amanda Colburn and Tessa Yendra, and her precious 18 great-grandchildren; [a brother, Bruce Bundy died the day after Beverly; his obit is near the top of this page]
Was preceded in death by an infant daughter, her parents and grandparents
