Activities: had a passion for racing, rebuilding and restoring cars; enjoyed the time he spent in his garage and with his family; loved to travel; was an avid Nebraska Football and Raiders football fan

Activities: was baptized and a confirmed member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Holdrege, enjoyed volunteering to move snow and ushering at Bethel in his younger years; 54-year member of the American Legion Post, and life member of the DAV; served on the Farmers Home Administration Board for more than 20 years; was a substitute mail carrier for 20 years for the Holdrege Postal Service, served on the zoning board for the Holdrege Airport for several years; enjoyed hunting and fishing; in retirement, fulfilled an old dream, earning his private pilot's license in 1980; enjoyed flying to visit family, and to visit many states; member of Nebraska Civil Air Patrol for 14 years as Senior Mission Pilots, doing search and rescue missions and aerial photography and narcotics department with the McCook Unit; also member of the Nebraska Flying Farmers for many years; worked at the Holdrege Airport, Brewster Field, for 20 years, mowing, moving snow and doing whatever else was needed

Activities: active member of First United Methodist Church and taught a variety of Sunday School classes over the years; loved working outside and always had beautiful flowers blooming in her yard; enjoyed being a member of a local garden club and loved filling her bird feeders each day; liked to travel to many places and went on bus tours throughout the United States; was an avid Husker football fan

Activities: enjoyed fishing when he could and working with and teaching his grandchildren; member of the United Ostomy Association of Grand Island and Kearney

After marriage, lived on their farm north of Kearney for 60-plus years
Activities: member of St. James Catholic Church; enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family and neighbors
