I have found the surname GRIMES posted for the Buffalo County, NE directory. I'm researching Sarah Terryl Grimes and can't find anything on any GRIMES names. I know she lived in NE as she died and is buried in Frontier Co., NE. Does anyone have any information on N. GRIMES and A. GRIMES, listed in the Buffalo Co Directory for 1890-91 Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Ron Parks

I am researching my surname and have come across ties to Buffalo County. Zacharias MIHM and Monica MIHM MIIGERL were siblings of my great-grandfather Thomas MIHM. The family came from Germany in Sept. 1872 and settled in Kansas. Some of the children departed Kansas for Nebraska and Washington. I would be interested in exchanging information with other family members.

Looking for any information on a John HOLMES who left U. P Congregational Church of Majors, Neb. in summer of 1901 by letter, and returned to Delaware Co., N. Y. I assume that this John comes from a family that had earlier left Delaware Co., N. Y. and returned to his family roots a number of years later. The earlier family had left in the 1850-60 era.

Is there anyone who has access to City Directories for Kearney who would be willing to look for someone for me? My father's family was there in the 1920s and after. Russell JACKSON was supposed to have owned a gas station in Kearney and I believe he lived there until his death in the early 1950s. I am also looking for Clifford Parrish (Parish) Jackson who may have been known as only with the surname PARRISH. Clifford probably left the area by 1934 but am not certain. I am more than willing to pay any expenses incurred and am willing to check out any of the books available in the Southern California Genealogical Society Library in exchange for your help. My great great grandmother had a sister Roxey HURD WILLOUGHBY living in Gibbon, Buffalo Co NE in 1925, but apparently gone from the county or deceased before 1946. Hoping for any info at all. Thank you.
