Looking for any information on (my grandparets) George SCHMIDT born Oct 11 1897, died in Kearney Nebraska April 15 1969, buried Kearney Cementery. I know my grandmother maiden name was RING and she died of TB in 1944. Do not know when she was born or the date of death. Grandfather remarried don't know the date or year. One child from 1st marriage, none together on 2nd, but think my step-grandmother had 2 children. My grandfather had 1 brother Adam 3 sister Clara, Frieda, and Magdaline (not sure of spelling). This is about all I know Grandfather lived in Kearney on Ave D for several years. We only had the chance to live in Kearney in 1968-1969 to be with our grandfather a short time till his death. Then our dad Walter W. Schmidt moved us back to Texas and we had not other contact with the SCHMIDT family. I do have birth and death dates on Adam, and his wife was told they had no children. Any help would be appriciated very much. Thank You.

Looking for obituaries, or more information about the following: Joshua K. HEDGES, died 15 October 1889. What was his cause of death? Son Charles died of typhoid just a few days prior.
Catherine A. (Lindsay) HEDGES, died at Elm Creek in 1919; wife of Aaron Hedges.
Joshua BOYD, died at Elm Creek, 07 April 1907 and his wife Calista (Gould) Boyd, who I believe died there between December 1905 and February 1906.
I am also looking for any birth record that may exist for Lee or ALLEN, born 20 July 1893 at Elm Creek. There may be no record of this birth except a bible somewhere. Thanks.

Cora Bump was born on 19 December 1872 in Nebraska according to her death statement. There is a family in which she is the correct age living in Kansas in 1880, but Cora was said to have been born in Iowa. Her son John STEVENSON was born in Buffalo on 27 Oct 1907. They all went to Canada in 1909. If the family is correct, there are sisters Carrie, Ida and Edna and brothers Harry and George all born between 1868 and 1880.

His first wife, Elizabeth Rebecca HANDLEY died in Kearney abt. 1882 and he married his second wife, Anna M. BRUCKER in 1883 in Kearney. I most interested in any information on both of the wives. Am looking for any information on George A. HAUKE who was born in Iowa and moved to Shelton in the 1890's. He married Addie DICKINSON in Shelton on 23 March 1899. Addie died on 13 October 1923 in Shelton. They had 3 children: Charles L., Harold A., and Helen Louise. George married Estella Amina Dixon Ball on 10 May 1928. It appears the George and family were farmers. George died 27 Sept 1961 in Kearney but was buried in Shelton. Any more info will be appreciated.
