The above state map shows the old Congressional Districts, the counties contained in the new Districts are shown below.
First District (11 counties)-Butler, Saunders, Seward, Lancaster, Cass, Otoe, Gage, Johnson, Nemaha, Pawnee and Richardson counties.
Second District (3 counties)-Washington, Douglas and Sarpy counties.
Third District (22 counties)-Boyd, Wheeler, Greeley, Knox, Antelope, Boone, Nance, Merrick, Pierce, Madison, Platte, Cedar, Wayne, Stanton, Colfax, Dixon, Gumming, Dodge, Dakota, Holt, Thurston and Burt counties.
Fourth District (25 counties)-Polk, York, Saline, Jefferson, Fillmore, Thayer, Hamilton, Clay, Nuckolls, Adams, Hall, Webster, Kearney, Franklin, Phelps, Harlan, Gosper, Furnace [sic], Frontier, Red Willow, Hayes, Hitchcock, Perkins, Chase and Dundy counties.
Fifth District (32 counties)-Garfield, Valley, Sherman, Howard, Buffalo, Keya Paha, Rock, Brown, Blaine, Loup, Custer, Dawson, Lincoln, Keith, Duel [sic], Cheyenne, Kimball, Banner, Morrill, Garden, Arthur, McPherson, Logan, Thomas, Hooker, Grant, Scottsbluff, Sioux, Box Butte,
