1. Everett B. Scott, Ensign,    Son of T. J. Scott, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., in June, 1917, and was trained at Great Lakes, Boston, and San Diego, for duty in Naval Aviation; later at Miami, Florida, as Instructor in the Aviation Branch of U. S. N.

2. Second Lieutenant Rex R. Randall,    Son of W. L. Randall, Gibbon, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., December 7, 1917, and trained at Berkley, and San Diego, Calif., and Ft. Sill, Okla., for duly in the Air Service Military Aeronautics. Released January 8, 1919, still held as a reserve and subject to call.

3. Arthur L. Crosby,    Son of A. R. Crosby, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., March 9, 1918, and trained at Kelly Field, and Gretna Field, for duty in Squadron C., of the Aviation Branch. Received his discharge January 23, 1919.

4. Captain Oliver Gove Norton,    Son of Mrs. Charles Oliver Norton, Kearney. Neb.
Entered the service at Detroit, Mich., in May, 1917, going direct to France, attached to the Air Service, with headquarters in Paris, France.

5. Private Gabriel Hayek,    Son of Mike Hayek, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., December 14, 1917, and trained at Kelly Field, San Antonio, Texas, for duty with the 660th Aero Squadron. On detached service in Paris, for five months, at Headquarters doing stenographic work. Discharged May 27, 1919.

6. Corporal Angur A. Eck,    Son of E. A. Eck, Kearney. Neb.
Entered the service at Ft. Logan, Colo., Oct. 11, 1917, and trained at Kelly Field, and Love Field, Texas, for duty in the 199th Aero Squadron, later stationed at Les Belle, France, in the air service. Fourteen months foreign service.

7. Second Lieutenant Charles A. Palmer,    Son of James Palmer, Elmcreek, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., December 22, 1917, and trained at Berkley, and Mather Field, for duty in the Air Service Branch of the U. S. Army. Later acted as Pilot at Rockwell Field, Calif.

8. Second Lieutenant Glen T. Gilson,    Son of Mrs. A. F. Gilson, Gibbon, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., December 14, 1917, and trained at the School of Military Aeronautics, Atlanta, Ga., for duty with the 809th Aero Supply Squadron. Discharged December 9, 1918.

1. Harry E. Carmichael,    Son of Mrs. L. V. Carmichael, Miller, Neb.
Entered the service at Sidney, Neb., April 6, 1918, for training in the U. S. Cavalry.

2. Private Martin Carlson,    Son of Fred Carlson, Gibbon, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., October 13, 1917, and was trained at Camp Funston, for duty with Company F, 42d Division. Saw service in France with his division; gassed. Returned during summer of 1919 for demobilization.

3. Corporal Levi S. Lucas,    Son of Chas. P. Lucas, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Lincoln, Neb., in July, 1917, and was trained at Camp Cody, for duty with a M. G. Co., in 134th infantry. Sailed for France in October, 1918. Was still in France in the spring of 1919.

4. Second Lieutenant Ralph C. Lucas,    Son of Chas. P. Lucas, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at LeMars, Ia, in June, 1918, and was trained for duty with the U. S. Infantry in France. Received his discharge papers in December, 1918.

5. Herman W. Clark, Wagoner,    Son of H. T. Clark, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Fort Logan, in August, 1917, trained at Camp Funston, for duty in the Medical Corps, 314th Sanitary Train, Field Hospital 354, 89th Division. Saw service at St. Mihiel and Verdun sectors and also fighting along the Meuse River, later with Army of Occupation.

6. Private Harry J. Peterson,    Son of S. O. Peterson, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Chicago, Ill., in September, 1910, and trained at Houston, Tex., Presidio, Calif., Philippine Islands, Hawaiian Islands, and Japan, for duty in Coast Artillery. Transferred to Motor Bat., 4th Division. Wounded and returned to the United States in February, 1919.

7. Corporal L. R. Bradley,    Son of Mrs. R. W. Sample, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Sioux City, Ia., in May, 1917, and trained at Camp Dodge, for duty with Co. L, (Rainbow) Division. Was in many important engagements. Wounded and gassed. In service 2 years.

8. Private Lloyd M. Fisher,    Son of Mrs. Emma Fisher, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., June 24, 1918, and trained at Camp Funston, for duty with Hdq. Co., 69th Reg., 19th Brigade, and received his discharge papers on February 2, 1919. Resides at Fleming, Colorado.

Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Sept. 19, 1917; trained at Camp Cody for service with Co. G, 23d Infantry, 2nd Division. Saw service in France with his division and also in the Army of Occupation in Germany.

2. Private Edward E. Brown,    Son of M. A. Brown, Gibbon, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Sept. 19, 1917, and received training at Camp Funston. In M. P. Co., in the Metz drive, later with the Military Police, Toul France.

3. Irvin Edgar Dailey,    Son of James O. Dailey, Ansley, Neb. Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., June 24, 1918, and trained at Fort Riley for service in the Medical Corps, and crossed to France in August, 1918. At last report was still in France.

4. Private Claude Willard Rhoades,    Poole, Nebraska. Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., June 24, 1918, and was trained for duty with Co. F 352d Infantry, sailing for France with the 88th Division.

5. Private Blayne Standage,    Son of Mrs. Nancy Standage, Poole, Neb.
Entered the service from Poole, Neb., June 24, 1918, and trained at Camp Funston, for duty in the Artillery Service 29th F. A. Battery C., 10th Division. Received his discharge January, 28, 1919.

6. Private Gustav England,   Poole, Nebraska.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., and was trained at Camp Funston, for duty with Co. L, 69th Infantry, 10th Division. Discharged January 25, 1919. Born in Stockholm, Sweden, March 5. 1888. Occupation, farmer.

7. Walter Z. Tillson,    Son of Walter Tillson, Poole, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., September 1, 1917, and was trained at Camp Funston for duty with Hdq. Co. 355th Infantry 89th Division. Saw duty in France on St. Mihiel and Argonne-Meuse fronts.

8. Private John P. Hemming,    Son of Gust Hemming, Elmcreek, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., August 29, 1918, and trained at Camp Funston and Camp Mills, for service in the Cooks and Bakers of Adjutant Generals Dept. Still army cook at Camp Mills.

1. Roy R. Richards,    Son of Geo. A. Richards, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., in June 1918, and was trained at the Great Lakes Naval Training Station, Great Lakes, Ill., for service in the U. S. Navy, making his first trip across in July 1918.

2. William A. Neal, Water-Tender,    Son of W. J. Neal, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service June 25, 1918, for training at Great Lakes Training Station, later transferred to Hampton Roads, Va. Went across once and got his discharge papers April 1, 1919. In one submarine attack.

3. Verle C. Cunningham, Seaman,    Son of S. S. Cunningham, Riverdale, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., May 11, 1918, and was trained at Great Lakes for duty as a seaman. Crossed three times on the Cruiser Pueblo as convoy. One trip to Brazil on ship carrying Brazilian ambassador. Released 2. 14, '19.

4. Glenn R. Cunningham, Seaman,    Son of S. S. Cunningham, Riverdale, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., May 11, 1918, and was trained at Great Lakes for duty as a seaman. Crossed three times on the Cruiser Pueblo as convoy. One trip to Brazil on ship carrying Brazilian ambassador. Released 12. 5, '18.

5. Howard Cowic, Engineer,    Son of Mrs. Cowic, Springfield, Ohio Entered the service on May 12, 1917, and trained at Great Lakes, for duty in the Engineering Department, 2nd Division. Later on a submarine chaser attached to the U. S. Steven's Fleet, with headquarters at Boston, Mass.

6. Earl O. Kentner, Chief Electrician,    Son of E. S. Kentner, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., April 12, 1911, training at Mare Island, Calif. 4 years on U. S. S. Cincinnati; still in the service at Tutuila, Samoa. Spent two years in China during the revolution there; volunteering again May 10, 1917.

7. Robert D. McBride, Radio Operator,    Son of John McBride, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., May 28, 1918 and trained at Great Lakes Naval Training Station and Boston, Mass., for duty in the U. S. Navy. Released from active duty, February 15, 1919.

8. Robert Halliwell,    Son of S. B. Halliwell, Odessa, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., July 30, 1918, training at Camp Sims, for duty in the navy, later being transferred to the Medical Corpsg and acting as nurse during the flu epidemic, working at the Frisco hospital.

Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., and trained at Camp Dodge, Ia., for service in the Provost Guards. Discharged March 31, 1919.

2. Corporal Henry J. Hermsen,    Son of Mrs. Mat Siebenaler, Elmcreek, Neb. Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., October 6, 1917, and trained at Camp Funston, for duty with Hdq. Co., 355th infantry, 89th Division. Saw service at St. Mihlel, Argonne Forest. Under fire for 99 days straight. Later with Army of Occupation. Discharged with the 89th Division.

3. Private Loran E. Abbott,    Son of J. E. Abbott, Russell, Minn.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Sept. 4, 1918, and trained at Ft. Riley and Ft. Bayard, for special duty with the Medical Department. Still on duty, during spring of 1919.

4. Private Clyde Lemon,    Brother of Chas. I. Lemon, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Billings, Mont., in October, 1917, and trained at Camp Funston, for duty with M. G. Co., 138th Infantry, 35th Division. Crossed to France in April, 1918, and participated in many important battles.

5. Private Raymond L. Thompson,    Son of Mrs. Sarah Thompson, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., April 29, 1918, and trained at Camp Funston, for duty in Co. K. 355th Infantry, 89th Division. Saw service with his division; wounded, not seriously; later with Army of Occupation.

6. Private Samuel V. Roudiez,    Brother of W. A. Roudiez, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., July 22, 1918, and was trained at Camp Dodge and Camp Johnson, for duty with Co. 35, 9th Bat., 63d I. M. C., crossing to France in September, 1918. Returned for demobilization in summer of 1919.

7. Oliver Dell Harris,    Son of Stanley Harris, Miller, Neb.
Entered the service in October, 1917, and trained at Ft. Leavenworth with Co. F, 7th Engineers. Landed in France in March, 1918, and engaged in Railway Terminal Construction. At front after July 1, with 5th Division, later with Army of Occupation in Germany.

8. Ora R. Boltin,    Son of William H. Boltin, Shelton, Neb.
Entered the service early in 1918, at Fort Leavenworth, and sent across after about a month's training with the 31st Engineers. As late as April 18, 1919, he was in the service "Somewhere in Russia."
