Entered the service at Grand Island, Neb., May 25, 1917, and was trained at Fort Bliss, for duty with Battalion C, 5th Field Artillery. Saw service at Toul, Montdidier, Soissons, St. Mihiel, Pont-au-Mausson, and Argonne. Discharged 4, 21, '19.

2. Private Floyd Johnson,    Son of J. R. Johnson, Kimball, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., June 26, 1917, and trained at Camp Cody, for duty with 127th Field Artillery. Transferred to Motor Transport in France. Discharged on January 22, 1919. Resides at Kimball, Neb.

3. Ralph A. Harvey,    Son of Mrs. Ella Harvey, Gibbon, Neb.
Entered the service at Grand Island, Neb., May 6, 1917, and trained at Camp Winfield Scott, Calif., for duty with the Coast Guard, belonging to 14th Co.

4. Corporal Floyd B. Randall,    Son of John B. Randall, Gibbon, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Sept. 19, 1917, and was trained at Camp Funston, for duty with M. G. Co., 30th Infantry, 3d Division. Saw service at Chateau-Thierry, shot through the leg in that fight. Later with Army of Occupation.

5. Second Lieutenant Lee M. Allhands,    Son of J. A. Allhands, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service June 15, 1915, saw service with Co. L, 4th Neb., on Mexican border. Later was trained at Camp Cody, for duty in infantry replacement. Received his discharge December 22, 1918.

6. Private Walter C. Tabke,    Son of Mrs. A. M. Tabke, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Oct. 3, 1917, and was trained at Camp Funston and Camp Mills, for duty with Hdq. Co., 355th Infantry, 89th Division. Wounded Sept. 12, 1918, at St. Mihiel. Later with Army of Occupation.

7. Ray M. Wiley, Operator First Class,    Son of J. s. Wiley, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Ft. Logan, Colo., Nov. 1, 1917, and trained for duty with 1lth Signal Platoon, Intelligence Department. In service at St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne, and Sheppy offensives. Slightly wounded. Discharged Jan. 16, '19.

8. Myron A. Wood,    Son of John Wood, Gibbon, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., June 2, 1917, and was trained at Camp Cody, for duty with Quartermaster Corps, No. 2. Crossed to France in June, 1918.

1. Private Edward A. Fester,    Son of F. W. Fester, Gibbon, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., June 24, 1918, and was trained at Ft. Riley and Camp Merritt, for duty with the 25th Ambulance Co., Medical Corps. Crossed in November, 1918, and did first aid work after armistice was signed.

2. Sergeant Dewey E. Beyer,    Son of Paul A. Beyer, Maxwell, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., June 22, 1916. Saw service on the Mexican border, later training at Camp Cody for duty with Battery E, 127th F. A., 34th Division. Discharged May 21, 1918. Now custodian of Kearney P. O.

3. Sergeant Sanford M. May,    Son of William May, Conrad, Ia.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., April 19, 1918, and was trained at Jefferson Barracks and Ft. Sam Houston, for duty with Machine Shop Truck Unit 400, 4th Division. Saw service on Verdun front in France. Discharged March 24, 1919.

4. Sergeant Richard B. Wilson,    Son of Mrs. John Wilson, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Denver, Colo., in July, 1918, and was trained at Ft. Logan and Camp Johnson, for duty with the 501st Motor Truck Co. Crossed in September, 1918; had care of 40 prisoners and transporting soldiers.

5. Private Albert M. Rogers,    Son of H. P. Rogers, Gibbon, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Sept. 19, 1917, and trained at Camp Funston, Camp Cody and Camp Dix, for duty with Co. M, 34th Division. Saw five months active service in France. Discharged February 6, 1919.

6. Everett M. Mason, Cook,    Son of J. T. Mason, Hastings, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., in 1917 as a member of M. G., Battalion, 7th Neb., later training at Ft. Riley, for duty with Base Hospital No. 90. Sailed to France and was transferred as cook in Base Hos. No. 90, Chaumont, France.

7. William M. Anderson, Cook,    Son of M. E. Anderson, Wilkesboro, N. C.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., August 14, 1918, and trained for duty with Co. 314, Motor Transport Corps, in U. S. Army. Received his discharge papers April 13, 1919.

8. Sergeant Fredrick C. Gumprecht,    Son of Charles Gumprecht, Shelton, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Oct. 4, 1917, and was trained at Camp Funston, for duty with Hdq. Co., 89th Division. Saw service in the St. Mihiel and Argonne Forest fighting, later with the Army of Occupation.

2. Sergeant Walter S. Herring,    Son of George Herring, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service April 1, 1918, and trained at Camp Funston, for service in the 29th Co., Depot Brigade, U. S. Infantry, and received his discharge papers December 5, 1918.

3. Sergeant Glenn W. Hazlett,    Son of C. E. Hazlett, Springfield, Ill.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Sept. 5, 1917, and was trained at Camp Funston, for duty with Co. ~F, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. Saw service in St. Mihiel and Argonne Forest offensives, Army of Occupation; discharge 4, 5, '19.

4. Albert J. Kutsch,    Miller, Nebraska.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., June 24, 1918, and was trained at Camp Funston and Camp Dodge, for duty in Co. C, 352d Infantry, 88th Division; and arrived in France, August 28, 1918, just 64 days from time of entering service.

5. Corporal Gerald H. Stiles,    Son of J. M. Stiles, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., April 2, 1917, and was trained at Camp Cody, for duty in Co. B, 109th Supply Train, 34th Division. Transferred to Transportation Service in France.

6. Sergeant Louis N. Bilon,    Son of Dr. L. B. Bilon, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., May 29, 1918, and was trained at Camp Johnston, for duty in Quartermaster Supply Co., 336. Later had charge of Quartermaster Supplies at Coblenz, Germany.

7. Merle L. Dow,    Son of W. S. Dow, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Camp Fremont, California, in March 1918; and was trained at Camp Fremont for duty with the 319th Engineers. Started across but was turned back by signing of the armistice.

8. Private Rex Dilworth Stark,    Son of Mrs. W. R. Wheeler, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Grand Island, Neb., July 21, 1918, trained at Camp Dodge and Camp Sherman, for duty with Co. I, 336th Infantry, 84th Division. Saw service on Argonne front, participating in the Argonne-Meuse drive. Discharged April 21, 1919.

Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Feb. 17, 1918, and trained at Camp Wadsworth, S. C., for duty in the Signal Corps 326th F. S. Saw service in the Meuse-Argonne offensive, later in Army of Occupation. Discharge July 5, 1919.

2. Second Lieutenant Robert H. Randolph,    Son of Mrs. E. M. Randolph, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Camp Custer, Minn., May 15, 1918, and was trained at Camp Custer, Camp Taylor, and Ft. Sill; not assigned to active service and received his discharge papers December 21, 1918.

3. Phillip M. Carrig, Chauffeur,    Son of Mrs. Katherine Carrig, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Leavenworth, Kansas, and trained at Fort Leavenworth and Rays Auto School, for duty in Co. D, Telegraph Battalion Signal Corps. Was in England short time, also five months in France. Discharged April l, 1919.

4. First Lieutenant James E. Carrig,    Son of Mrs. Katherine Carrig, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., in June 1917; trained at Camp Cody and Camp Perry, O., for duty in U. S. Infantry. Served on Mexican border; in France in Army of Occupation, Was instructor in hand grenade work.

5. Sergeant-Major Winfield Noyes,    Son of E. W. Noyes, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., Sept. 18, 1917, and trained at Camp Funston and Camp De Souge, for duty in Hdq. Co., 342d Artillery. Saw service at St. Mihiel and in the Verdun sector. Gassed. Discharged June 10, 1919.

6. Private Lloyd F. Swinyer,    Son of C. L. Swinyer, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Douglas, Arizona, in January, 1919, and trained for service in Troop C, 17th Cavalry, later sailing for Honolulu, Hawaii, where he is at present.

7. Private Floyd A. Armstrong,    Son of Mrs. M. L. Jenkins, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Sheridan, Wyo., July 27, 1916, and trained at Camp Kendrick, Wyo., for duty with Co. D 3rd Regulars. Saw service in the Marne, St. Mihiel and Meuse-Argonne offensives. Discharged June 23, 1919.

8. Sergeant Carl P. Swinyer,    Son of C. L. Swinyer, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., in 1912, for duty in the U. S. Cavalry, belonging to Troop K, 17th Cavalry. Still in the service, located in Honolulu, Hawaiian Islands, attached to the cavalry department.

Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., May 2, 1915, and was trained at Camp Fremont, Calif., for duty with Co. G, Ammunition Train, 8th Division. Was under order to sail at Camp Mills when armistice was signed. Discharged Feb. 12, 1919.

2. Edward E. Bilon,    Son of Dr. L. B. Bilon, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., in September, 1918, and trained at Nebraska State University, in the S. A. T. C. In training until after the armistice was signed.

3. Sergeant Virgil F. Wiley,    Son of C. M. Wiley, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Miles City, Mont., June 23, 1916, and trained at Ft. Missoula, Ft. Harrison, Ft. Douglas and Gondrecourt, France, for duty with Co. I, 104th Infantry, 26th Division. In battle of Belleau Wood, Aisne-Marne sector, Verdun, and Meuse-Argonne. Discharged April 20, 1919.

4. Sergeant Allen Cook,    Son of C. Allen Cook, Lowell, Neb.
Entered the service at Ft. Logan, Colo., in February, 1918, and trained at Camp Hancock and Camp Merritt, for duty with Co. F, 7th Infantry, 2nd Division. Saw service in Belleau Wood, at the Marne, in the Argonne Forest, and trench fighting; also Army of Occupation.

5. Sergeant John Judson Hull,    Son of H. J. Hull, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Omaha, Neb., in June, 1918, and was trained at Camp Dodge and Camp Grant, for duty with 67th Co., 2nd Battalion, I. C. O. T. S., Wireless Telegraphy Depot Brigade. Discharged shortly after armistice was signed.

6. Jerold L. Branson,    Son of L. E. Branson, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., July 20, 1918, and was trained at Ft. Logan and Camp Johnson, for duty as clerk in the quartermaster corps. Discharged Dec. 31, 1918.

7. Corporal Walter H. Buhmann,    Son of E. W. Buhmann, Miller, Neb.
Entered the service at West Point, Neb., May 27, 1918, and trained at Camp Dodge, for duty with Battery F, 338th F. A., 88th Division. Discharged January 17, 1919.

8. Corporal Thomas T. Lewis,    Son of J. F. Lewis, Kearney, Neb.
Entered the service at Kearney, Neb., in May 1916, and saw service with Co. L, on Mexican border. Later trained at Camp Cody, for duty in ll9th F. A., 32d Division. In fighting at Chateau-Thierry, Soissons, and Argonne Forest.
