First Presbyterian Church - Introduction 1908 Jubilee

"And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all, the inhabitants thereof; it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you." -- Leviticus 25: 10-11.

To all that line of the faithful who have contributed in making the history of our beloved church,.and have joined the church invisible; to those who have grown gray in the Master's Service therein, and especially to Mr. J. Newton Wise and Mrs. Lucy J. Martin, the only living charter members, and to Rev. John C. Baird, D. D., the honored pastor for thirty years, is this book affectionately dedicated by the Board of Trustees.
