-- I am searching for any information pertaining to my grandparents and/or their families: Cletis Elton ARNOLD b. 22 March 1906 in Sutherland, NE in 1929 m. Anna Mildred DICKSON b. 4 March 1904 resided most of their married life and are buried in Lagrange Wyoming. Cletis's parents: f.(unknown ARNOLD) m.(unknownSMITH?) Cletis's siblings: Dean, Leonard, Emmett, Wilda, (1 unknown?) Anna's parents: f. Henry Speed DICKSON m. Mina PERRIMAN Anna's siblings: Lial, Fern, Lucille, Ruth, Herman I am unsure whether Anna Dickson is from Custer Co. or even from NE, but it seems likely. It is rumored in our family that Arnold and Cozad, NE are named after my Arnold branch, so I would welcome any evidence to support this or help me in any way. My grandmother was Verna Viola DeVINNY(b: 7 March 1902). Her parents are Harry Meade DeVINNY (b: 3 December 1865 d:11 April 1945) and Lydia Jane STEAR (b: 22 January 1874 d: 22 January 1961). Lydia had the following brothers and sisters: Verna STEAR who married John WHITE; Lizzie STEAR who married ? STIVERS; Flo STEAR who married John KINNAN and had a daughter Ruth; Wilbur STEAR; John STEAR who married Lizzie; and Jake STEAR who married Mable and had a daughter Myrlte. I put together the information about Lydia's sisters and brothers from a box of photos and what is written on them. Ernest PERRY, b. 2/29/1880, was living in Cozad in 1917 when he married Mildred PARKIN. (He was born in Iowa but moved with his family to Kearney, NE about 1885. Mildred was b. in 1894 in Box Butte County but grew up in Eustis.) The couple raised 10 children in Cozad. Ernest died in 1940 and Mildred in 1954. Ernest was previously married to Eva HARDIN but was divorced in 1914.

I am trying to find out information on my Great Grandfather, Albert Nay Tyler. I have not even been able to find out who his parents were, or if he had any siblings. The only thing I know about him is that he married Lillie May Prichard in Dawson County, NE, on 16 Oct 1881, and they eventually ended up in the Washington/Oregon/Idaho area in the late 1800s or early 1900s. Tom was listed as a farmer in 1900 Dawson Co.. census but couldn't find them in the 1910 census. There were 2 children living with them but not theirs. Did the Orphan train come through Lexington?

My great grandmother may have been living with her daughter Hannah Elizabeth "Lizzie" Eckes Winters when she died. Hannah was the wife of Thomas J. Winters who lived in Dawson County, Platte Township in the 1885 and 1900 census. We originally thought that Mary Catherine died in Falls River, KS, Greenwood County, where her husband Jacob Eckes died 5 August 1888. We would like to know if their was a 1895 census for Dawson Co.NE? Is their a way to find out if she was buried there and when she died?
