ANDERSON, CARLSON, LUNDBERG posted by Laurie Duncan on Saturday, January 15, 2000

I am looking for information relating to the birth and ultimately in the adoption of Iola R. Anderson. She was b. Violet Rose Sept. 27, 1917 to one Amelia Ostland/Austland Josephson in Storm Lake, IA. She was placed by the Nebraska Childrens Society in the home of Ernest and Minnie Anderson, of Gothenburg, NE shortly after her birth, at about 6 weeks of age. Iola eventually married Milford A. Carlson and they resided north of Gothenburg until her death in 1984. There was an article in the local newspaper about Iola's reunification with a sister, Karolyn Houck and I would very much like to find the date of this paper and get a copy of it. Also would like to know the how and why of this adoption! Very important information needed for medical reasons! Thank You!
