BERRYMAN, SELK posted by Marvin Berryman on Monday, May 15, 2000

My "Dawson County" Berryman line is through my father Noble, grandfather Frank, ggrandfather William Benjamin and gggrandmother Zarilda Berryman. Through my mother Dorothy (Selk)Berryman, Ball, Berryman's third marriage, I'm also connected to Troy Berryman (a cousin of Frank's). You can see I'm "well connected, Berryman-wise". What I would really like to find is more Berryman photos ca 1860 - 1920 similiar to the ones in my webshots album (on personal website). I would particularly like one of my gg grandmother Zarilda Berryman who is buried in the Cottonwood (Bethel) cemetery northeast of Cozad.

HIMMELBRIGHT, HIMMELRIGHT, HIMMERITE posted by Sheila Himmelright Cave on Wednesday, May 17, 2000

My ggg-grandfather William J. Himmelright was one of the earliest settlers in Armada, Miller Nebraska, and my gg-grandfather lived and raised his family on the same farmstead. As did my g-grandfather William do the same. In my ggg-grandfathers will, he owned 160 acres of land, according to his will, it was located at Dawson Co, Nebraska being the Northwest Quarter of Section 17, in town 12, Range 19. I will be a doggone, but I cannot find the correct plat map that will show me this. This will was dated 1888, and he was a year from dying at that time.

BROWN, WELLS posted by Mary Ritchey on Wednesday, May 17, 2000

WELLS - I'm searching for information regarding my great-grandfather, Harvey WELLS, and my great grand-mother whose maiden name was Agnes Dorothy BROWN, who lived in the Overton area in the late 1800's. My grandfather, Archibald Orlando WELLS, was born in Overton on January 8, 1890, according to my aunt. He had brothers and sisters, but I don't have their names as yet. Harvey and Agnes are supposed to be buried in Overton, but I don't have their dates of death. Any information on these people would be much appreciated. Thanks. Mary
