Funeral services for Michael Donlen, 69 years old, of Ponca, Neb., who died at a Sioux City hospital Wednesday morning following an operation, will be held at 9 o’clock Friday morning in the Catholic church at Ponca with Rev. John Kelly officiating. Burial will be in South Creek cemetery at Ponca.
Donlen was a resident of Dixon county during his entire life, having been born there August 31, 1860. He is survived by two brothers, D. F. and Thomas, and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Fraizer and Mrs. Mary Simpkins, all of Ponca.
The body was sent to the home of a brother, D. F. Donlen, Wednesday. Larkin’s funeral home had charge of the body.
