TEACHER OF PONCA SCHOOLS FOR MANY YEARS DIES. Ponca, Neb.—Special:
Miss Elizabeth O’Connor, primary teacher in the Ponca schools, died suddenly as she was about to enter the superintendent’s office in the school building, after having dismissed her grade for the day.
Miss O’Connor had taught in Dixon county 43 years, 35 years of which she was a teacher in the Ponca city schools.
She leaves surviving her three brothers, James and Edward of Ponca, and William of Okanogen, Wash., and one sister, Mrs. Mary McQuillen, Martinsburg.
