Obituary.
Myra J. Pomeroy was born July 3, 1860, in West Unity, Williams county, Ohio. Married to John F. Pomeroy in 1876 in Dixon county, Nebraska, having lived all her married life in this county. She was the daughter of exceedingly conscientious, good parents, was reserved in character, a great lover of her home and family, and while making no profession of faith by joining any church, yet inherently in her nature lived out Christian principles and was much beloved by all who knew her.
She leaves her husband, John F. Pomeroy, three daughters and two sons to mourn her loss: also her many relatives, friends and neighbors, who will miss the good neighbor from their midst.
Services were held at her home near Allen, Rev. Geo. Bray of Ponca preached the funeral sermon, after which she was taken to the Springbank cemetery, followed by a great concourse of friends, and laid tenderly away to rest.
