Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Stough, widely known pioneer of Dixon Co, NE who lived there for 60 years, were held from the Salem Lutheran Church, Ponca, NE Wednesday with pastor Rev. C .P. Darriker officiating.
Mrs. Stough had been failing in health for some months due to cancer which finally claimed her on 4/20/1928 in the hospital at Poinsettia Place, Hollywood, CA. She was 75 years, 6 months and 29 days old. Her brother Peter Sheffel was a well known carpenter; and her brother William was in the milling business with her husband.
