Thomas Ole Madsen, age 90, of York, former longtime Cordova resident, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2000 at Fairmont.

He was born Nov.22, 1909 west of Cordova to Theodore and Helena (Petersen) Madsen. Tom graduated from country school and farmed west of Cordova with his sister, Dora until they moved to York upon retirement in the mid 70's.

He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Exeter and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

Tom is survived by many cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 9,2000 at 2p.m. at the Metz Chapel in York with the Rev. Robert Brauninger officiating.

Burial was at the Exeter Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Church or the Fairview Manor.
