Barbara A. Roth, 60, widow of Kenneth Roth of Seward, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999. She was born Feb. 1, l939 at Beaver Crossing.

She was a graduate of Beaver Crossing High School in 1956; a member of Bellwood Mennonite Church, Milford; vice president of Mennonite Women; an active member in Cancer support group in Seward; and a retired 25 year employee of Memorial Health Care Systems in Seward.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph F. and Marie (Roth) Schweitzer; husband, Kenneth; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ezra and Mattie Roth; brother-in-law, Ervin Nichols.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Peggy and Rob Fry of Perkasie, Penn.; Douglas and Lori Roth of Geneva; Paula Roth of Omaha; five grandchildren, Brittni and Brooke Roth, Abigail, Robbie and Benjamin Fry; step mother-in-law, Susan Roth of Milford; sisters, LaVaughn and Wayne Detweiler of Gresham and Zelma Nichols of Beaver Crossing; brother, Robert Schweitzer of Phoeniz, Ariz.; sisters-in-law, Sharon Schweitzer of Phoenix, Ariz., Doretta and Ralph Schweitzer of Milford, Imagene and Darold Burkey of Milford; Julie and Ken Hafer of Seward; brothers-in-law, Clifford and Sandy Roth of Fremont, Lonnie and Jeannie Roth of York.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1999 at 2 p.m. at Bellwood Mennonite Church with the Rev. Marilyn Kym officiating.

Burial was held at the Seward Cemetery.
