Augusta M. Skoglund

Augusta M. Anderson was born in Sweden in 1872. She came to America at an
early age and made her home with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs.
Lindberg, early residents of Fillmore County, until her marriage September 11,
1894, to August W. Skoglund, who preceded her in death September 5, 1932.
Mrs. Skoglund passed away at the Ingleside hospital at Hastings, Neb., Sunday,
July 21, 1940, at the age of sixty-eight. She is survived by two sons,
Walter Skoglund of Luverne, Cal., and Clyde Skoglund of Geneva, Neb., and by
three grandchildren, Mrs. Marjorie Cannon and Maxine and Ernest Skoglund, all
of Geneva.
The funeral service was conducted by Rev. William Kilburn at the Hrubesky
funeral home at 10 a.m. yesterday. Mrs. H.A. Rosenau and Mrs. A.H. Elder
sang, accompanied by Mrs. C.G. Hrubesky.
The interment was in the Geneva cemetery.
