Lindblom - At his home in Stanton township at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 1908, of apoplexy, August Lindblom, aged 66 years, 3 months and 26 days.
 

August Lindblom was born at Kallmar, Sweden.  When a young man he came to America.  He was married to Miss Sophia Skoglund at Moline, IL., December 3, 1877.  They removed to this county in 1886.  The deceased is survived by his wife and four children, three sons and one daughter.  Mr. Lindblom has been in failing health for about two years.

The funeral took place from the family home at 2 p.m. Saturday and was conducted by Rev. Thomas Griffiths.  The interment was in the Geneva cemetery.
