Carl A. Lindblom

Carl A. Lindblom was born to August and Sophia Lindblom at Moline, Il, Jan 21, 1879.  He passed away April 8, 1964, at the farm home south of Geneva.  He was 85 years old.

 

Mr. Lindblom suffered a serious stroke at the farm home December 17, 1963.  He was taken to the Fillmore County Hospital, and was cared for there almost four months.  He was improving some and was taken to his farm home, where he passed away as was his wish.

He was united in marriage to Miss Ethel Swan of Campbell, NE at Smith Center, KS, June 20, 1934.  No children were born to this union. 

 

He is survived by his loving wife, Ethel and several nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.

 

The funeral was held at the First Congregational Church at Geneva, Saturday, April 11, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Robert Kasper officiating.  Mrs. Gerald Pickerell sang, “In the Garden” and “Beyond the Sunset.”  The accompanist was Mrs. Willard Foster.  Pallbearers were Lambert Hopken, Carl Janing, Kenneth C. Kimbrough, Edward Reinsch, Waldo Schinzel and Norman Yates.  Interment was in the Geneva Cemetery.
