Henry Sieckmann was born in Germany, January 7, 1861, and died at his farm home near Ohiowa, January 11, 1911, age 50 years, 4 days. He came to Illinois, USA at the age of ten and a year later came to Nebraska. January 19, 1882 he was married to Sophia Gewecke, to which union two children were born. The wife died in June 1885. April 8, 1886 he was again married, his second wife being Sophia Rippe. Two children were born to this union. The wife died within the last year. Three children survive him. The funeral services were held in the South German church and interment made in the St. Johns Cemetery.
