"Since early manhood Mr. [John Albert] Aspegren has been engaged in the lumber and coal business. He now has extensive interests and is president of the Independent Lumber and Coal Company of Lincoln, and secretary and treasurer of the Aspegren and Strand Lumber Company of Saronville, and the Doniphan Lumber Company of Doniphan, Nebraska. He is a director of all three corporations. An Elk and a Mason, he is a member of St. Paul's Methodist Episcopal Church, and the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. His hobbies are reading and travel. Residence: Lincoln."
