Prior to 1872, the county had not been divided into townships but three precincts. To better understand the early accounts of Hall County communities, first read the 1872 history (link below) to which will provide some links to an early voter’s registry of names. Then you’ll find other links below under either the township or under the name of the town or city itself. Also, is one link to obsolete towns or communities that once had been a part of the county. These historical accounts were provided by the History of Hall County Nebraska (1920), and other historical works.
