Hello,
I'm writing you from Germany. I seen the name Antonia Stobba and also the name Malek or Podjaski. My mother was with the maiden name a Stobba and we also have relatives Malek. The familie are coming from Gdansk/formerly Danzig a part of West Prussia. In case somebody is still living from these families with this name or if somebody could tell me something of how these two families came to your area this would be wonderful. May be since I am visiting in Poland I can be to somebodies help. Greetings from Wuerzburg, Germany. Chris Leavitt.

I am searching for information on Florence Naomi Moffitt, daughter of Frank D. Moffitt and Mary Jane Moffitt (maiden name unknown) Florence or Naomi as she was known married Clyde Edward McIntosh in about 1913 or 14 in Howard Cleveland County Nebraska. Naomi died in the 1918 Flu epidemic, and was burried in the Richland Cemetery in Marquette Nebraska, they had one son named Delmar Jessee McIntosh, born in 1915. Clyde remarried and had a second family, Delmar J. was left with Naomi's parents, and raised by them. Delmar or Jack as we new him never new any of Clyde's second family, and our family doesn't know anything of thier McIntosh or Moffitt Heritage. I am writing with the hope that someone out there knows of Clyde Edward McIntosh or Florence Naomi Moffitt and will contact me. We have hit a brick wall, and are unable to locate any records on our ancestors. Please contact Mary @ marypul@velocitus.net Thank You in advance for any help

I am hoping to connect with descendants of the HILMER (William, Henry & Fred from biographies page) family of Howard County, Nebraska, to determine if there is a connection to my family. I am a descendant of the HILMER family from Platte & Boone Counties, Nebraska. My information is that when my great-grandparents (Christian Heinrich & Geske Friedarika (Wilberts) Hilmer) immigrated to the United States from Abbehausen, Germany, in 1885 with their three sons (Frank, George Henry & Carl), it was because they were sent tickets by family already in the US. While they settled in Platte then Boone County, I have been thus far unable to find the family that would have already been here. Desperately searching for a link to this family.

My grandparents were Laurence and Dora Sorensen. The marrige license says Soren L Sorensen. I have also discovered a R. Soren Sorensen who could possibly be my g grandfather. I'm lost, the new initials have both my mother and I confused. She is Laura the youngest of their 10 children.
