GREEN, HEDGLIN, RHINE, RHYAN, RYAN, SIMONS posted by Ethel Flannery on Tuesday, September 13, 2005

I'm trying to find where my great great grandmother Electa Simons Green Hedglin Rhine is buried. In the 26Jan1900 issue of St. Paul Phonograph a Mrs. RYAN was reported as falling and lying on the ground all night before dying. Ihave a funeral card with Electa RHYAN's death date Jan201900 on it. I understand those weren't issued unless there had been an obit. I can't find one. I have her marriage record to William RHINE on 11Apr1898 in Grand Island, NE Her second husband George Hedglin is buried in Souleville Cemetery near Boelus but no stone for Electa. She isn't listed in the cemetery index either. Her third husband William Rhine is buried in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Pleasanton by his first wife. No stone for Electa there either. Although her last name was spelled three different ways, these were all the same woman, my great great grandmother. Please contact me privately if you have any information. Thanks for any help.

MILLER, QUICK posted by Brian Quick on Sunday, October 2, 2005

Is it possible to get a copy of a page in the "Howard Co. Marriages Book 2, Aug 1884 - Oct 1892" page 500. The marriage of my ggreat grandparents WILLIAM WHITE QUICK and ELIZA MILLER is on that page.
If anyone has any other information on the QUICKS, that lived out there I would greatly appreciate it. The only information I know for sure about them living out there is he had a harness shop, and she was a school teacher. There may have been Quicks in the area around then too.
Thank you
Brian Quick
