Am researching my husband's line(s): Direct ancestor Nicholas Kaufman (b. abt. 1816 in Luxembourg/Germany/Prussia; d. abt. 1893 in Saint Libory, Howard Co., NE); married Elizabeth (Bly?) (b. Feb 1831 in Luxembourg/Germany/Prussia; imm. abt. 1843; d. abt. 1915 in Saint Libory, Howard Co., NE). They had 8 children between ca. 1851 and 1867 in Wisconsin and Illinois before coming to Saint Libory, NE ca. 1881 (? -- they were living in Iroquois Co., IL in 1880, and then in Howard Co., NE in 1900). Children of theirs also living at one time or another in Saint Libory: Margaret (Kaufman) Arends (1858-1908), Susan Kaufman (1862-?), John Kaufman (1864-?) & Nicholas Kaufman (abt. 1866-?).

Oscar Crow, born Oct 1857, was the son of Mathias Crow and Mary Yeager/Yager. Mathias and Mary were listed in 1880 in Howard County census in Spring Creek. Oscar was found in 1900 living in Saint Paul, Howard Co, NE with wife Eliza J. and daughter Elsie. I'm interested in learning more about the Crow family in Howard County, NE.
