Could use help in completing the family tree. Nis & Christina Kliver Mortensen both born in Denmark and married in NY in 1871 shortly after arriving in US. Settled in Dannevirke/Cotesfield area in 1878. I am looking for their descendents particularly the Gregersen line. I made the Leth connection on this county site and two other branches and myself are working on ours. Mary married George Gregersen. Have some leads. Also Hans & Mary Mortensen that later moved to the Laramie, WY area. Then, there is a Kerstine (may or may not be Mortensen) and Norman Blanco and their daughter Adeline who married Arthur Staal. This family settled in Grand Island. They are related and I have a theory on their connection but have not been able to connect the dots. Lastly, Kliver either in Ne or NY that may be related to Christina. Thanks soo much.

I am looking for information on the descendents of Jorgen Mortensen, born in Denmark 1818. Family immigrated to NY in 1871. They were in the Troy, NY area. I believe there were three of the sons: Nis(got most of this), Hans who married Ottominie, & ____ that came to the Dannevirke area in 1878. It is unclear whether Jorgen was with them all the time. Two sons remainded in New York. Any information on these or the unknown brother that I believe eventually settled in the York, NE (had 2 daughters?) area would be greatly appreciated. Hans had three sons(all born in NY): Jorgen(George & Marie or Mary), Paul (m Carrie Sophie Hansen) with daughters with the other surnames here, & Miles which I have NO info on. Would Love to fill these in. Thanks B
