Henry Wendland returned to Crete Monday to resume his studies at Doane College.
Master Max Rhunke is staying with his brother Albert and attending school.
Messrs. Joh Kittley and James Nuttler of Ohiowa were calling on friends here recently.
Rev. F.A. Martin of Swanton did business in these parts Wednesday.
H.H. Shaw had a valuable cow killed by the Rock Island freight, Thursday afternoon.
Mrs. Ida Ammerman will entertain the ladies of the Missionary Society Thursday afternoon April 27th.
Mrs. P. Ipson and daughter Ethel returned several days since from a visit with relatives in Missouri.
Mr. Frank McClerg and family have come here from Oketo Kansas to live on the farm occupied last year by John Kohlmorgan.
