Corn shucking is in full blast again.There was a husking bee at John Quinn's Tuesday.
Miss Tillie Bennett visited with her brothers over holidays.
Miss Northrop went away on a visit last week and Charlie hasn't done anything since.
Effie Spencer and Mr. Sollenberger had vacations in their schools over Christmas and New Years.
Mr. Titzell gave an oyster supper and dance to their numerous friends Christmas night. A fine evening was spent.
Literary is running at Silver Creek. Meets Friday evening. A good program for the first meeting was executed last week.
C.J. Rhodes is preparing a musical entertainment for the near future. F. Johnson and W. Quinn are assisting in the most difficult parts.
Mr. Johnson, W. and Kittie Quinn and Bessie Wheelock visited with Miss Tillie Bennett at her brother George's Thursday evening. She leaves for Missouri Friday.
