Donald F. Barraclough
COLUMBUS, Ga. — Donald F. Barraclough of Columbus, Ga., a North Platte native and brother of Paul Barraclough of North Platte, died Feb. 6, 1998. He was 78.
He was born Oct. 5, 1919, in North Platte. He received his master’s degree in education from Georgia State University in 1972. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, Korea and the Vietnam Conflict.
Colonel (retired) Barraclough is survived by his wife, Lois of Columbus; a son, Douglas of Marietta, Ga.; grandsons, Brian and David Holt; 
three sisters, Ewina Thill of Norwalk, Calif., and Marjorie Riley and Jeanne Buchanan, both of Kingman, Ariz.; and a brother, Paul of North Platte.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Barraclough Holt.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Parkhill Cemetery.
