Ronald D. ‘Ron’ Beeson BOISE, Idaho — Ronald D. “Ron” Beeson, 55, a native of North Platte, died April 17, 1999, at Boise. He was born May 4, 1943, at North Platte to O.E. “Pete” and Neola Davison Beeson. He attended North Platte schools and Northwest Nazarene College. He graduated from Southern Nazarene University, where he prepared to teach math. He earned his master’s degree at the University of Northern Iowa. During his 32 years as a teacher, Mr. Beeson taught his students to make the most of whatever life might bring. He had been an active member of Valley Shepherd Church of the Nazarene since moving to Idaho in 1979. Surviving him is his wife of 34 years, Jamelyn; a daughter, Michelle (Kermit) Murray and son, Matthew, of Atlanta; a son, Lance (Donna) of Salt Lake City; his parents of Boise; a sister, Coni Gibson of Denver; nieces, nephews and many loving relatives and friends. Memorials are suggested to the Valley Shepherd Church of the Nazarene building fund, 831 E. First, Meridian, ID 83642. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the church in Meridian with burial in Kohlerlawn Cemetery at Nampa, Idaho. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of the Chimes in Meridian.
