Michael L. Carlson Michael Lee Carlson, 42, of North Platte died Oct. 9, 1999, at his home. He was born March 29, 1957, to Harold and Shirley Jean Beavers Carlson at Walnut Creek, Calif. He attended school in North Platte and then began working different jobs. Mr. Carlson was baptized in The Reorganized Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. Survivors included his father, Harold “Tuffy” Carlson of Hershey and his mother, Shirley Carlson of North Platte; two daughters, Heather (Kenny) Adams of Palisade and Star Mitchell of North Platte; a sister, Jeannie (Gregg) Anderson of Omaha; a brother, Harold Duane “Junior” of Kimball; three grandchildren, Darien and Dawnika Adams and Latascha Mitchell; a niece, Kristy Anderson; three nephews, Jeffrey, Tim and Brian Anderson; and several cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chris and Susie Carlson and Charles and Lydia Beavers. Memorials are suggested to the donor’s choice. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Restoration Branch Of The Church Of Jesus Christ with Elder Marvin Godfrey officiating. Burial will be in the North Platte Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Odean Colonial Chapel or before services at the church.
