Viola May Froese
OGALLALA — Viola May Froese, 75, of Ogallala, died Nov. 29, 1998, at the Indian Hills Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Froese was born May 6, 1923, in Flint, Michigan to Edwin and Lillian Skank Shimmons. She moved with her parents as a small child to Texas and received her education there.
She married Harvey Froese and they traveled and lived in Montana, New Mexico, Colorado and Nebraska. They moved to Ogallala in the early 1960’s. She worked for Maques Dress Shop for several years.
She is survived by two sons, Gary Fellows of Ft. Myers, Fla. and Kelly of Seattle Wash.; A sister, Winona Boro of Loveland, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
A memorial has been established to Indian Hills Manor
Services for will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Ogallala Cemetery with Rev. Robert Pierce of St. Johns Lutheran Church officiating.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at the Draucker Funeral Home in Ogallala.
