Carol Jeanette Kieselhorst Carol Jeanette Kieselhorst, 57, of North Platte died Oct. 8, 1997, at the Gothenburg Community Hospital. She was born March 26, 1940, to Jarold and Inez Soloman Sukraw at Maxwell, where she attended school and graduated from high school in 1958. Following graduation, she attended Kearney State College. She taught at several rural Lincoln County schools and Maxwell Public School for 38 years. On Aug. 30, 1975, she married Kenneth Kieselhorst at Hershey. He preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 1993. She is survived by two daughters, Marcia (Alan) Hajek of Sidney and Monna (Garth) Hardy of Dillon, Colo.; a son, Jaye (Linda) Kieselhorst of Grand Island; her mother, Inez E. Sukraw of North Platte; two sisters, Sharon (Jack) Wyttenbach of Sauk City, Wis., and Marilyn (Stephen) Morton of North Platte; two brothers, Morris (Jeannette) Sukraw of Gothenburg and Loren (Cathy) Sukraw of Maxwell; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her father and a brother. A memorial has been established to the Maxwell Public School Scholarship Fund. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Messiah Lutheran Church with the Rev. Sacia Young officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery at Maxwell. Visitation will be from 8;30 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Adams and Swanson Funeral home, and prior to services Saturday at the church.
