Clara K. Kraft
ALLIANCE — Clara K. Kraft, 93, died Oct. 7, 1997, at Good Samaritan Health Care Center in Alliance.
She was born Sept. 14, 1904, at Eustis to Godfried and Anna Seiz Weiland.
On May 4, 1921, she married George Kraft Sr. at Holyoke, Colo. They homesteaded south of Grant. She moved to Alliance in 1983.
Survivors are eight daughters, Carolina D. Sand of Milan, Ill., Bertha Campbell of Hannibal, Mo., Martha Venditte of Omaha, Katie (John) Barber of Fort Morgan, Colo., Betty (Jim) Jones of Bryant, Wis., Susan (Dean) Starr of Sidney, Lizzie Jeffers of North Platte and Ilene (Del) Vian of Oshkosh; three sons, George Jr. (Hannah) of Alliance, John (Yoko) of Jamul, Calif., and Phillip of North Platte; 32 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Kraft was preceded in death by her husband, three sons and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bates-Gould Chapel in Alliance with Carolann Arrants officiating. Graveside services and burial will be at 2:30 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery at Grant with the Rev. Sharee Kelly officiating.
