Wilber B. Mars
PAXTON — Wilber B. Mars, 85, a native of Paxton now of Oregon City, Ore., died Sept. 25, 1997, at Vancouver, Wash.
Mr. Mars is survived by a daughter, Susan Olive (Randy) Keller of Gladstone, Ore.; three sons, Wilber Jr. (Ariel Von) of Oregon City, Jon T. (Sharon) of Spray, Ore., and Paul E. of Roseburg, Ore.; a brother, Glenn A. of San Leandro, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Esther Holscher of Ogallala; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Order of Amaranth Kellog Court No. 29, American Diabetes Association, or the Rehabilitation Unit of Shriner's Hospital for Children.
Memorial services were at Cochran and Waud Sunset Chapel in Gladstone.
The body was cremated.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Paxton Cemetery with the Rev. Doniver Peterson of Trinity Lutheran Church of Paxton officiating.
Draucker Funeral Home of Ogallala is in charge of local arrangements.
