Robert E. Peden
COZAD — Robert E. Peden, 72, former Cozad resident, died Nov. 28, 1998, at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings.
He was born Sept. 23, 1926, at Cozad to Walter and Frances Kandler Peden. He attended Cozad school and had made his home in Cozad until the 1970s when he moved to Hastings.
Survivors include three sisters, Bette (Ray) Cone of Blackfoot, Idaho, Helen (Art) Curtiss of Lincoln and Ruby (Dennis) Schmeeckle of Cozad; three brothers, Leo of Sun City, Ariz., Darrell (Janice) of Oklahoma City, Okla. 
and Oliver (Leone) of Kearney.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Arlene McAdams and a brother Ernest.
A private family burial will be at the Cozad Cemetery.
