Agnes Vera Renfroe Agnes Vera Renfroe, 85, died Jan. 28, 1998, at Greeley, Colo. She was born June 15, 1912, to Silas P. and Pearl C. Sanders Kimberly at Empire, Ga. On Dec. 28, 1933, she married Samuel Waudell Renfroe at Hawkinsville, Ga. They were married nearly 40 years. She lived in Georgia until her marriage and moved with her family to North Platte in 1936. The past several years she had lived with her son, Jack, in Greeley. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading and attending church. She loved to travel to visit her children and had several trips planned for 1998. Attending her children’s and grandchildren’s sports events was another favorite thing for her. She was a full-time homemaker until the late 1950s, when she took work outside her home as a seamstress. Mrs. Renfroe was a member of the Berean Fundamental Church in North Platte, where she taught Sunday school for many years and she enjoyed attending services, ladies meetings and being with her friends. Since moving to Greeley, she attended the Evangelical Free Church in Eaton, Colo., with her grandson, Scott, and his family. Memorials can be given to the Berean Fundamental Church for the new sanctuary. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Ann Ziervogel of Baldwin Park, Calif., and Linda Kay (Reid) Velte of Geneva; three sons, Donald Rabon (Marilyn) Renfroe of Mansfield, Ohio, Jerry Delano (Sherry) Renfroe of Edmond, Okla., and Jack Paul (Karen) Renfroe of Greeley; a sister, Sue Kimberly Sewell of Hawkinsville; a sister-in-law, Aline Kimberly of Macon, Ga.; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1972; a daughter, Susan Elaine Renfroe Harrison in 1995; two sisters, Lola G. Kimberly Bull and Mary M. Kimberly Yates; and four brothers, Theo E., Rayford V., Leslie C. and Jesse L. Kimberly. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Berean Fundamental Church in North Platte with burial at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Carpenter Memorial Chapel is in charge.
