Marvin J. Richards LINDSTROM, Minn. — Marvin J. Richards, 71, of Lindstrom, former North Platte resident, died Jan. 12, 1999, at his home. He was born on Aug. 21, 1927, in North Platte. He moved to St. Paul, Minn., in 1950, and later to Shoreview, Minn., before retiring to Lindstrom and Mesa, Ariz. Mr. Richards was a World War II veteran. He worked for the Northern Pacific Railroad Communications Department, Hamms Brewery as a Senior Maintenance Supervisor and Johnston Coca Cola Bottling Group, retiring as Vice President of Operations. Survivors include his wife Ardyce; three daughters, Carol (Mark) Earle, Deanna (Paul) Lorinser and Sarah (Don) Eagan; a son, Joseph (Roxanne); two sisters, Elaine (Rose) Hudson and Gwen (Jim) James; a brother, Scott (Milly); 10 grandchildren, Holly, (Matt) Schultze, Monica Earle, Timothy, Teresa Lorinser, Jessica, Eric, Mark Eagan, Joshua, Brittany, Mallory Richards; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ardis. A Memorial has been established. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chisago Lakes Evangelical Church in Lindstrom with a private family interment to follow. Grandstand Funeral Home of Lindstrom is in charge.
