RoDell Rudel STERLING, COLO. — RoDell Rudel, 59, of Phoenix, formerly of North Platte, died Nov. 27, 1998 in Phoenix. He was born Sept. 24, 1939, in Sterling, Colo to George W. Jr. and Alma Bell Rudel. He lived on a farm south of Fleming, Colo. until moving to Julesburg, Colo. where he was raised. He graduated from Julesburg High School in 1957 and from Western State College in Gunnison, Colo. He worked for International Harvester, then for his father on a cattle ranch at Crook, Colo. He moved to North Platte and worked for Moormen Feeds and Federated Insurance, later moving to Helena, Mont, working for Universal Underwriters. He then moved to Phoenix where he spent the last 10 years of his life as a territory manager for Chrysler Insurance Corporation. Survivors include a daughter, Robyn Lynn of Boulder, Colo.; a son, RoDell of Hawaii; three brothers, K.C. of Lake McCoughnahay, Jon of Sterling and Bill of Brush, Colo.; two aunts, Doris C. Bell of Fleming, Colo. and Anna Mae Hagemeier of Sterling and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be at 2 p.m. MST Wednesday at Tennant Funeral Home in Sterling. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Sterling. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. MST today at the funeral home.
