Pauline I. Tomlinson Pauline Iona Tomlinson, 62, of Hershey, died Nov. 27, 1998, at her home. She was born Sept. 27, 1936, to Lawrence A. and Alice Ocobock Bise at Ruskin. She attended grade school in Ruskin. She attended high school in North Platte after her family here in 1944. After high school she lived in the North Platte area and married George Reed Tomlinson on March 25, 1965 in North Platte. She worked at the American Legion for a number of years. The couple moved to Arizona in 1977. They moved back in 1982. Afterward, Mrs. Tomlinson moved to Hershey where she had resided until her death. She loved crafts, fishing, cooking dinners for her family, and was known for her wonderful cinnamon rolls. She belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary. She was a very loving, sharing and considerate person and always wanted to help her children when in need. Survivors include a daughter, Debra (Kenneth) Durant of Johnson; three sons, Daniel (and special friend Kay Fessler) of Hershey, Herbert of Lexington and Vernon (June) of North Platte; three stepdaughters, Janice Walker of Tennessee, Linda (Vernon) Thompson of Hershey and Yvonne Hiatt of North Platte; two stepsons, Reed (Sharon) and Walter all of North Platte; a sister, Barbara (Garnet) Hudson of Hershey; three brothers, Raymond (Donna) Bise of Witchita, Kan., Garold (Merna) Bise of Springfield, Ohio and Glen (Lois) Bise of Utah; a special friend, Jerry Tatman of Sutherland; 35 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Diana L. Thompson, a stepson, Richard and three step grandsons. A memorial has been established to the Salvation Army. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Adams & Swanson Chapel. Burial will be at Fort McPherson National Cemetery. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge.
