Charlotte Magnuson Vorderstrasse
LAMAR, Colo. — Charlotte Vorderstrasse, 57, of Lamar, Colo., died Jan. 28, 1998, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
She was born August 23, 1940 in Stapleton to Guy & Mabel Jenkins Magnuson. She graduated from North Platte High School and Mid-Plains Community College.
Dec. 28, 1968, she married Ronald Vorderstrasse at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Glenvil. 
She lived in North Platte and Columbus before moving to Lamar 7 years ago. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Vorderstrasse was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and Lamar Extension Club.
A memorial has been established to Grace Lutheran Church in Lamar.
Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Susan (Donald) Porter of West Point, two sons, Lloyd (Angelika) Vorderstrasse of Midland Park, N.J. and Larry (Lori) Vorderstrasse of Lincoln; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; a step-great grandchild; five sisters; a brother; five sisters-in-law; and five brothers-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and her mother-in-law and father-in-law.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Glenvil. Burial will be in Glenvil Cemetery.
