Dear Messenger:
Yesterday was my time in Lincoln County. On Sunday morning we went to Gandy,
the county seat of Logan County, Neb. After preaching we had dinner. At three
O'clock we met on the banks of the South Loop River, one and a half miles north
of Gandy, where I had the pleasure of immersing five young people, one young
man and four young ladies, in the presence of a large crowd of people. It is
a beautiful place; the stream nice, clean sand, The day was lovely, a nice gentle
breeze from the South, made it very pleasant.
