VERNON THOMAS JOHNSON                            
Vernon Thomas Johnson, 65, of 3444 Poly Drive, Died Wednesday at St. Vincent’s Hospital.       He had been a truck driver for Safeway for the last 24 years.  He had lived in Billings since 1932.     
Mr. Johnson was born Dec 5, 1908 in Arnold NE., a son of Mr. and Mrs, Ole Johnson  He married Anna Wax Sept. 12, 1934, in Roundup.  They lived in Billings.  His wife died Jan 6, 1970.     
Survivors include two sons, Gordon T. Johnson of Bellevue, NE and Marvin L. Johnson of Portland Ore.; a daughter, Mrs. Lynn B. Hetland of Columbus, Ohio; a sister Mrs Kenneth Steele of Nampa, Idaho, and six grandchildren.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary.  The Rev. Tom Lane, a Methodist, will officiate. Burial will be in Mountview Cemetery.
