BIELER, GIEHLER, GIELER posted by Jeanette Bismark on Thursday, October 22, 1998

I am looking for information on Caroline Louise Giehler or Gieler (possible Bieler) born in Germany 1867. She came to the US about 1885 (age 18) to live with a half-brother who was a foreman on a big ranch in Tilden, NE according to a hand-written memoir. The memoir says that she stayed on the ranch and went to a litle country school house to learn English. Later she gave piano lessons to support herself. In about 1891 she was in Iowa and married to Ernst Kindler. Would appreciate any help or suggestions. Thank you. Jeanette Bismark
